About Organic Wine

Organic wine - the way it should be !

Captains Creek Organic Wine is made from grapes grown organically without the use of synthetic chemicals or pesticides.

In the winery there are no chemical additives used throughout the wine making process. Physical movement and treatment of the wine is kept to a minimum and the essential natural preservative sulphur dioxide is kept to a minimum.

To clarify the wine Bentonite clay is used and the wine is naturally cold stabilised in the oak barrels over the cold winter period. The level of filtration is minimised to preserve the inherent characters and flavours of the wine.
