What is a box scheme?
Our box scheme is a weekly supply of in-season vegetables delivered to your door or a drop-off point in a returnable box for a set price.
We would like you to feel included in the production of your vegetables and to have a say in what we grow. You will be free to visit the farm and we will host events to which you will be invited. We will publish a periodic newsletter and aim to share recipe ideas amongst box scheme members.
Box schemes enable growers like us to produce affordable organic food on a small scale. Costs are kept down by minimising packaging, cutting out the middleman and selling locally to reduce food miles – good for you, good for us and not bad for the planet either.
About the Captains Creek Farm
Captains Creek Farm is a small farm business just outside the village of Blampied near Daylesfod, Victoria. We grow organic vegetables, fruit wine and animal products on 40 ha of land and supply a wide variety of seasonal produce through our vegetable box scheme.
